Why have counselling?

  • Effective counselling provides a confidential environment and a skilled, impartial professional to help you understand what is going on in your life, why it is happening and how to make positive changes.

  • You can be assisted to understand patterns which have become unhelpful or destructive in your life or relationships.

  • Strategies are developed for managing the current situation, goals are established and insights into past influences may be explored.

Counselling and psychotherapy is a unique experience and Joy will work with you to understand the context of your situation and your various life influences.
